You will now notice that GrumblingDwarf.com goes to GrumblingDwarf.net. This will be the new home to Grumbling Dwarf. These forums will remain but be phased out. Nothing here, will be maintained or preserved. We are suggesting you check out the new domain and set up shop there.

Why the move?

Well, we have a couple reasons.

1 - Our hosting company was less than adequate, and that's putting it lightly. The level of service was not acceptable.
2 - We have to look at a solid foundation. The 'integramod' phpbb version of the site will soon get behind in updates, our opinion, and won't be as supported as we like. This leads to vulnerabilities and getting hacked.

One other reason is that is not key, but will help, is that additiona ...

You're not imagining things. We have had big issues lately. Thank you to those that emailed me to ask what's going on?

Even after a mid-afternoon inquiry, they left me in limbo until last night. They said that there is indeed an issue with the server that the Dwarf is located, along with a couple other domains I have there. You're going to like this, they're still not convinced that the problem has been resolved. It's ridiculous.

I now work in a web department. I have a few solid suggestions from fellow web geeks as well as some personal friends. ...

We totally missed the store's birthday (Aug. 30) so we're going to use the Boss Lady's birthday (this week) as an excuse to celebrate!

On Sunday and Monday, Sep 27 and 28, we are offering 10% off everything except single Magic cards AND 20% off of MINIATURES (because the Boss Lady grew up as the shortest in her group of friends). IN FACT, we'll give 20% OFF all Munchkin items because Munchkin was her nickname in high school! And, yes, there will be cake!

We DID mention VIRAL - please help us on the word to your gaming friends. Please forward, cross-post, and inundate the e-world with this announcement.

SIC 'EM !!!
